The craziest part of the new movie “Drop” is that her date didn’t immediately leave when things started to go awry. I would have been out of there so fast.
The film stars Meghann Fahy as a woman who is terrorized by a series of anonymous drops to her phone while she’s on a date with a handsome man, played by Brandon Sklenar.
The action really ramps up as the main character is asked to follow strict instructions or her son and sister will be killed.
The audience is left guessing who is dropping her messages and I really enjoyed that mystery element of the film.
I also thought the acting was really good. I would love to see both of the lead actors star in more movies like this.
One thing I didn’t like was that the film took some creative liberties with how airdrop technology works to make the plot make sense. And some of the action scenes weren’t that believable.
Other than that, I thought this movie was pretty entertaining. I would suggest it to anyone who likes a good thriller.
